GOOD
I'm often looking for replacement parts and it's not always convenient to take a nut, screw or even a washer to the store to look for the correct size. Being able to check it at home, write down what I need and then look for it at the store is very convenient. Also, not all stores have a checker. This is very heavy duty and will last a lifetime. Looking forward to mounting this in the garage.
I have a number of thread checkers. The last one I got claimed to be steel but was actually aluminum and I've already damaged many of the threads. This one has a sturdy aluminum base and steel studs and feels like it could stand up to daily use in a hardware store. It's functional, durable, and attractive and it's exactly what I was looking for.
This is a very hand thread gauge - I bought 2 one for my garden shed and one for my basement work bench!
